About Me
Each day as an educator I dig into my teacher toolbox, reflecting on past experiences with students and learning from mentors who have guided and inspired me. I pride myself on my ability to connect with students and parents of all backgrounds, stepping into their shoes with an empathetic approach. I graduated with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary/Special Education and earned a Masters of Science in Education from Bank Street College of Education with professional certifications in Students with Disabilities and Early Childhood Education (Birth-2nd grade).
I have been working with children in a variety of settings including camps, schools, and in the home for well over 10 years in the New York Metropolitan Area. As I get to know your family and your children, I will assess them through four domains:
physical (gross and fine motor skills)
cognitive (academic strengths)
receptive and expressive language
social-emotional (self-regulation skills)
My focus will be on creating a nurturing and non-judgemental mindset leading into each session. I look forward to modeling and scaffolding meaningful strategies which you can practice on your own, gaining confidence and harmony at home.
I’ve had the opportunity recently to join conversations about supporting children, families, and neurodivergent learners in ways that are both compassionate and practical. These episodes reflect the values that guide my work: connection, boundaries, understanding, and individualized support.

Unmasking Social

The ADHD Heroes Podcast
In this episode, I share my personal ADHD journey, including how being perceived as "well behaved" often masked the challenges I experienced in school. We discuss late diagnosis, self advocacy, learning differences, and how my lived experience with ADHD influences my work as an educator, parent coach, and advocate for children and families.
